I've been insured with elephant for a number of years but have finally moved as I'm fed-up with the rip-off renewal process. Each year I get a cheaper quote from their sister companies and elephant are happy to reprice my renewal to that amount, but if I don't check this and complain, their automatic renewal process ("because you've got a million things to juggle, we make renewing as easy as possible") kicks in. This year elephant would have renewed my insurance at £264 rather than £211 with admiral. Decided to give up on the EUI group and go with direct line instead (at £205).

"I've had to claim twice sadly in the last 3 years, no matter the cost, both time, I've had issues with Petplan claiming not to have received my paperwork or the vet's even when I knew it had been delivered after I resorted to recorded delivery.
