santander e-saver issue 4 is a very good savings account- 3.10% interest rate for a year, unlimited withdrawals, easy enough to set up, and to transfer funds, online or by phone. Staff in branch may not be as clued up as you would hope.

I agree totally. Still, despite the fault, it's currently a very good deal indeed.

"It is a savings account, it does what it says on the tin. It is a pain to pay money in sometimes because there are no branches to pay in money, And so you have to send money in the post or on line. I prefer paying money in over the counter. The interest rates are good and that is why I chose to bank with them"
